DCPro™'s Flexible Future
Flexible architecture provides:
- Easy integration of new modules
- Additional control inputs or outputs per module (presently up to 32)
- Many new features possible in software
- Software updates via simple PC download
Modules planned:
- LCD display console with simple interface
- Wireless module supporting up to 6 handheld units
- Branchline control (e.g. auto-reverse, passing etc.)
- Servo module - mechanical signals, slow motion points etc.
- Sound modules - loco-specific sounds follow trains
- Stand-alone manual controller
- Output module for CDA-operated points
Software planned:
- PC display of train location, speed etc.
- Inventory tracking of all rolling stock for realistic operations
Possible future integration with:
- Manual DC control of some layout segments
- DCC systems!
